 From August 25 - 30, 2008, something unique will happen in the capital city of Sarajevo. The first ever International Scientific Conference for the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids (ICBP) will take place at the Congress Hall of Municipality in Old Town Sarajevo.After the first three seasons of excavations of the Bosnian Pyramids the Foundation has gathered enough scientific evidence, through the efforts of scientists and professionals from around the world, to be presented at the ICBP. Leading researchers for the pyramid project believe that this compelling evidence will verify the existence of the Bosnian Pyramid. |

The Bosnian Federal Minister Mr. Grahovac has set up a controlling commission named "Commission for national monument saving". This commision came one morning to the Pyramid of Sun without making an appointment with the researchers. Their conclusion: "It has to be shut down, because it is a danger for the old city middle age town Visoki!" |

 Former High Representative in B&H, Dr. Christian Schwarz-Schilling visited the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids this past Sunday, and the purpose of his visit was to get fresh information about the Bosnian Pyramid. The Founder of the "Archaeological Park; Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun Foundation" Mr. Semir Osmanagic and Mrs. Elma Kovacevic- the Foundation's coordinator for International Relations- welcomed Dr. Schwarz-Schilling and gave him a tour on the plateau of the Pyramid of the Moon and in the underground tunnels in Ravne place. |

 The Bosnian Government officials held a meeting on 4th of July in Sarajevo and decided to support the ongoing research of the Bosnian Pyramid which the Foundation has been conducting. They decided to support the Foundation’s efforts to protect and restore the ancient city Visoki, accordingly with the Commission- statues in charge for the protection of the national monuments. The ancient city of Visoki is an officially a national monument and the ongoing research of the Bosnian Pyramids will be supervised by the Federal and local government officials; by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, and the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning and Environment. |

 This past weekend, many local and foreign tourists have visited the Valley of Bosnian Pyramids. Among the visitors were also guests from Croatia (Zagreb), Munich, and 20 tourists from Ljubljana. |
