Today in news we’ll take special interest on Dr. Barakat.Today for the second time from his arrival to Bosnia-Herzegovina he visited Sarajevo. From the day he arrived in Visoko this Egyptian expert works very hard, on his one insisting – 12 hours a day, trying to solve mystery which holds Visoko Pyramids. >
This is why today were not so typical, and we would like to believe that he had good time and rest a little bit in our company. But also, the day was working also. Egyptian expert Aly Abd Barakat visited today several institutions in Sarajevo, in company of his colleagues and associates of Foundation AP BPS, Nađa Nukić, coordinator of geological works, Hido Nukić from committee for legends and stories, and Samra Koričić, press coordinator. First destination was Geological Institute of Construction Faculty in Sarajevo, where Dr. Barakat talked with his Sarajevo colleagues, dr. Nijaz Škripić and Ferid Skopljak about found manmade stones on the field and artifacts, and possible laboratory analysis of found samples.
Also, Foundation bought for Dr. Barakat geological map of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and book that goes with it and covers this theme. Dr. Barakat said this is great tool and help in his future work on archeological findings in Visoko. After the visit to Geological Institute, Dr. Barakat with members of Foundation went to National Museum where he saw exhibitions of several interesting collections, and shown special interest in Paleolithic period. Because of renovating department for mineralogy and petrography, he didn’t have the chance to look at this collection, but he spoke with kind staff of museum.
After that Dr. Barakat bought some books in book-store «Byebook», where direktor Damir Uzunović where are host and helped him in his choice. Barakat bought several valuable and interesting books, in English and Bosnian language, from history of Bosnia- Herzegovina, Visoko, and tourist-guide he got as a present.
After "džuma" prayer (Friday prayer, obligation of every Muslim) in Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque, the most famous Sarajevo mosque, dr. Barakat walked through this old and memorable part of Sarajevo, where we met another member of Foundation, Ahmed Bosnić, who we joined in drinking refreshing juice called "smreka" (old domestic receipt), so our guest felt like at home on Sarajevo Bash Charshiya, as he told us.
It was interesting to see reaction f salesmen who were selling Bosnian Pyramid souvenirs on Bascharsia, after Aly looked at their handcraft, and we explain who is their customer – "Egyptian who proved existace of Bosnian Pyramids." After lunch in one Sarajevo "aščinica" (place where typical old Bosnian food is served), Dr. Aly Abd Barakat went on planned meeting with ambassador in Embassy of Egypt in our country. After the meeting, Dr. Barakat went back to Visoko, to prepare himself for next early morning and day - "serving" Bosnian Pyramids . |
