 On the Bosnian Pyramid of the Moon, a lot of activities took place on the site # 22, where the Foundation's team continued with more excavations towards the north, at the length of 2, 50 m and the width of 1.60 m. Samples were taken from the inclination that is filled with yellow clay, and the site stretches into the shallow channel, which leads towards the north. Also, the penetration into the pyramidal deformation continued at the depth of 1,00 m.
The Foundation's expert team is coming across on daily bases with more evidence on excavation sites, that the work of human hands had taken place, which confirms the hypothesis about the existence of colossal pyramids in Visoko.
The presence of various layers of marl and clay is noticeable, and it extends further for 20 cm. The Foundation's expert team came across to the new horizontal level of tile like shaped stones that are a lot more massive than previous ones. The joints are going towards the direction of N-S, and the mentioned blocks are 9-11 cm in width. More excavations and widening of this site is planned to take place towards the direction of N-S.
On location # 19, northeastern part of the site, a semicircular structure appeared, made of small stones, and has dimensions of 160x60x50 cm and stretches towards the northeast.
On location # 20, the excavations took place towards the direction of N-E, and total width is 1, 50 m.
About 30 cm of dirt was dug out, underneath the upper horizontal level, in order to connect it with the level, where burned up substance was found.
The work also continued on the Pyramid of the Sun, on locations 4c, 4d and 12.
On location # 12, the excavation of the large stone block continued, and the depth reached on S-W edge (on the very top of the removed material) is 1.80m. The length of the S-E edge is 2, 30 m, and the depth of the mid section is 1.42 m.
The length of the lower section is 1, 10 m. On the same site (loc3 20), the work activities went on with the continuity of the stone blocks. |
