 The regular meeting of the Archeological Park Foundation; Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun- Board of the Directors was held today in Sarajevo, with Mr. Semir Osmanagic presiding.
The board has reviewed and accepted the research results, which were conducted by Mr. Enver Hasic -(the coal mining engineer, who also holds a master degree in Coal Mining Sciences). Mr. Hasic had conducted his research in the underground tunnels, which are located near KTK – Visoko Firm and Ravne place. In addition to that, the safety measures have also taken place; inside of the tunnels, more than 120 meters have been secured (at KTK Visoko location) for the safety purposes, and 63 meters in the tunnels at Ravne. The main goal is to make the tunnels accessible for further research as well as tourist attraction. The construction work in the tunnels that is taking place, will give the availability of at least a 100 meters for scientific research, and for the visitation of the tunnels, which will start in April of this year. The Zenica and Kakanj labs are conducting air-substance tests twice a month in order to ensure the safety of the workers and the perspective visitors. The coordinator of this research project, Dr. Pr. Muris Osmanagić has informed the members of the Board about the Foundation’s future projects and its cooperation with the state institutions, regarding the future research activities. The Foundation’s executive director, Mr. Mario Gerussi has informed the Board of the Directors about the marketing activities that are taking place with the Foundation’s sponsors, as well as the new multimedia DVD projects. Ms. Elma Kovačević (the Foundation’s coordinator for International Relations), has also presented the media plan of the Foundation’s project for the month of March for 2007. Her plan that she presented, also include the promotion of the Bosnian Pyramids in UK, France, Egypt, and Jordan.   |
