 President of Archaeological Park Foundation: Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, Mr. Semir Osmanagic, and foundation’s member, Mr. Nadir Cukurija, visited today Center for rehabilitation for hearing and speech in Sarajevo. During this visit, all patients, including their parents and teachers, were given a presentation about the world pyramids, including pyramids is Bosnia.
On new location # 23, which is located on the plateau of the Moon pyramid, Foundation's expert team started excavations within the range of two smaller sites, with dimensions of I = 1,60 x 1,20 m, and II = 1,40 x 2,60 m. The goal is to connect them into one large site. Both micro sites are revealing the presence of two layers processed sand blocks, evenly thick, having dimensions of 8 cm in the upper layer and 12 cm in the lower.
Work continued on location #19, and on location # 20 excavations are completed. At the moment, the work is being done to preserve this impressive terrace. Location # 9 was also active, where a sewer was dug.
At the very top of the pyramid, drilling continued, reaching the depth of 55m.
Among the visits today; Journalists from Hungarian State television, headed by Szakacs Gabor, have been visiting for the second time.. In the next few days, their TV crew will be filming a documentary about Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids, including the complex of underground tunnels.
