Mr. Osmanagic, the president of the “Archaeological Park Foundation; The Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun” held a presentation last night via video-link, informing the Norwegian public about the research results that are found in Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.

During the 2 hour presentation, The Bosnian Cultural Center in Oslo had an opportunity to see the new photos of excavated sites on the Moon and the Sun pyramid. They were also informed about the analysis of Egyptian experts that conducted the research on the pyramids this year, and confirmed the importance of this archaeological location.

Among other important events; on the Pyramid of the Sun, the connection of the 2 edges on sites # 4c and 4d has been completed, where megalithic blocks were found. Towards the northern edge of the site 4c, humus was removed from the surface. On location # 12, two megalithic blocks were excavated, since the goal was to follow the rift that was found on this location.

On the Moon Pyramid, location site# 20, new excavations started in the direction towards the south. New sandstone blocks were found here, 10 cm in width. More excavations are planned here, which will follow the continuity of the stone blocks found on this location. A new site was dug out on this location, which stretches into the hill, having the length of 90 cm, where sandstone blocks were found.



Location # 19 – excavations continued and reached 90 degrees of an angle in the relation with the base direction of the plateau that has been already excavated (which is the direction of the east) . The very ending of this site is closed with the steep wall, which originated with the elevation of the ground. The same site is showing of its downfall from the left side in different directions, away from its base.


Location # 22, which is located on the plateau on the Moon Pyramid, was also excavated today, where new blocks were found with the dimensions of 8 cm. The layer of marl was found below the mentioned blocks.
