Local and foreign media outlets are no exception. Among the visitors, there was a group of Bosnians and Herzegovinias that are long time residents in Australia. It was an organized visit from Sidney, Brisbane, Tasmania, Perth and other parts of Australia. They were given a presentation on the Foundation’s project, including a tour to all excavation sites on both Bosnian pyramids.
An extraordinary complex of pyramid structures in Visoko is attracting more tourists on daily bases. As a result, hundreds of foreign and Bosnian tourists are arriving to the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.
All the visitors received detailed information about the Foundation's project and archaeological findings, which beyond the doubt confirm the hypothesis about the existence of pyramid structures in Visoko.
Among other visitors; excursions of students and teachers from elementary schools “Safet-beg-Basagic” and “ Enver Colakovic” from Breza, E.S “Suburin” from Sarajevo, E.S. from Zepce ,high schools from Kalesija and Sarajevo, representatives of BH “Youth Organization” from Sweden, etc.
"Archaeological Park Foundation; Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun" also welcomed a group of French journalists from ''Le Dauphiwelibre'' newspapers, the correspondent from London’s newspapers “The Guardian” Ian Traynor, and a writer/docent from Hamburg University, Ms. Emina Kamber. Ms. Kamber also works for daily news „Die Welt“(The World).
Because of the persistent rain in the past few days, the excavations have slowed down. On the Pyramid of the Moon, the drilling did continue and the depth reached is 45 m, where sturdy material was found. This material is full of cracks, and in the process of drilling, a large amount of water was used. It will be further analyzed by the geologists. On the plateau of the Pyramid of the Moon (Loc.22), excavations continued towards the east, where new, perfectly shaped stone blocks were found. Attention: |
